– Bandage should remain on the tattoo for 2 hours. The tattoo should not be bandaged again.
– With clean hands you can remove the bandage and wash the tattoo
– use lukewarm water and antibacterial soap to wash it gently (like Spectro-gel), do not use heavy soap on the tattoo
– In the shower, avoid exposing the tattoo to direct contact with the water jet, then pat (do not rub) the tattoo with paper towel.
– Once completely dry, follow with a very light application of moisturizing lotion (we recommend Aveeno fragrance-free moisturizing lotion – green cap)
– Apply lotion 3-4 times daily, for 2 weeks; be sure your hands are washed.
– After a few days, you will notice some peeling and possible scabbing. It will also start to itch. Do NOT pick at any scabbing that may occur on the tattoo and do not scratch. Instead apply lotion to avoid damaging the tattoo.
– Avoid touching your tattoo as much as possible, and if you do, always do it with clean hands.
– Avoid swimming and taking baths for 2 weeks.
– Once healed, always protect the tattoo from the sun’s ultraviolet rays. This can cause fade and damage to the tattoos rapidly. Use a minimum of 30 SPF sunblock.
– Our work is guaranteed, if there are any problems during the healing process, you may come back within 90 days for a $10 touch up.
– Wash hands
– Clean 2-3 times a day with a 0.9% saline solution applied with a Q-tip for 2 weeks.
– Avoid touching your new piercing with hands during and after healing.
– Avoid sleeping on your piercing for minimum 3-5 months.
– Sheets and pillow cases should be kept clean.
– Avoid wearing hats and earphones during healing.
– Hair must be tied up for at least 1month.
– Swimming, bathing, fragrance soap, make up and facial cleaners should be avoided for 1 month.
– Clients have a check up 2 weeks after they gotten the piercing.
