As Southeast Orthopedic Specialists continues to grow, we are actively hiring a Part-Time Medical Scribe ! The ideal candidate for this position will be a high-performing individual eager to pursue a career in healthcare, whether that is clinical ( nursing, PA, MD, etc) or non-clinic ( Health care Admin, medical device sales, marketing, etc) healthcare roles.
We offer a robust experience with a requested minimum commitment of six months, preferably greater than 12 months with room for growth, providing valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic healthcare setting with no limit to what you learn, observe, and who you meet for future career growth and networking opportunities (when you, succeed we succeed).

GENERAL SUMMARY
Assist providers with appropriate, timely, and accurate documentation in the EHR system. They accurately document the events and decision-making in a manner that results in appropriate medical charting. Also complete clerical activities necessary to assist with the processing of physician orders for tests and medications, as well as gathering necessary information such as labs, radiology reports, etc. Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining EMR templates to facilitate accurate documentation and streamline workflow processes within our organization. This role involves templating by specialty and payor.
